Illustrative organizational use case

Turn a displaced worker’s experience into a transition investigation.

Structure a participant’s exploration around transferable capabilities, preparation questions, and an actionable Career Path.

The starting challenge

Workforce development

A participant needs a new direction after a layoff. Their job title does not make their transferable experience obvious, and they are unsure whether another field would require a short course, a credential, or a longer program.

How the organization could use it

A practical workflow
to explore together.

01

Start with work the participant knows

Select Customer Service Representatives and review the associated knowledge, skills, and abilities. Ask which capabilities the participant used regularly and which they can support with examples.

02

Investigate an adjacent direction

Explore Human Resources Specialists, read the work tasks, and examine the fit report. Listening overlap can start a conversation; differences in writing or HR knowledge can focus further investigation.

03

Separate training discovery from eligibility

Use education and training searches to identify areas of study and providers. The counselor and participant then check admission requirements, schedule, cost, licensing where relevant, and employer expectations with current sources. Funding eligibility requires the program’s own checks.

04

Agree on a next action and review

Create development goals, timeframes, networking activities, and mentor strategies in My Career Path. A first action could be an HR informational conversation and two writing samples for feedback, followed by a counselor review.

Use the comparison to ask what the participant can demonstrate and what they should investigate. The report describes occupations; it is not an individual proficiency assessment.

Application captures illustrate product behavior. Check current sources for wages, projections, provider information, and requirements.

Useful outputs to work toward

What a participant
could leave with.

  • A shortlist of occupations to investigate, with reasons to consider each.
  • A comparison discussion that distinguishes occupation references from demonstrated personal skills.
  • Provider questions and a development plan with activities and review dates.

Your organization’s role

Keep judgment and follow-up in the workflow.

The agency supplies advising, funding and eligibility checks, referrals, and current local employer knowledge. Transition Navideer can structure exploration and planning; it does not determine funding eligibility or guarantee placement.

A demonstration for Workforce development
